What we collect
If you fill in the contact form we receive the name, email address, phone number, subject, and message you typed, together with the page you sent it from and the date and time. That is all the form asks for and all it stores.
We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, bank details, government identification numbers, or health information. Please do not send them through this website.
Why we hold it
Solely to answer you and to keep a record of what was asked. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing.
Who can see it
Messages are stored on the website server and emailed to the store. Outbound email is sent through SMTP2GO, our mail relay, and the website is hosted and maintained by Pro Star CMS Development, who can access the server in order to support it.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept while they are useful for answering you and for our own records, and are removed when they are not. You can ask us to delete your message at any time by calling the store.
Website statistics
We count visits so we know which pages are useful. This is done on our own server. We record the page visited, the approximate device type and browser, and the site that referred you.
We do not store your IP address. Instead a one-way, salted code is derived from it that changes every day, which lets us count a visitor once per day without being able to identify you or follow you across days. These records are deleted after about 13 months.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. A single session cookie is set only when a member of staff signs in to the administration area, and when you submit the contact form so the anti-spam check works. Nothing else is stored on your device by us.
Other sites we link to
Some links take you to services we do not run, such as Google Maps and the Google review page. Once you are there, their privacy terms apply rather than ours.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the administration area requires a password, and stored messages are not publicly accessible. No system is perfect and we will not pretend otherwise, but we take reasonable care of what you send us.
Children
This website is intended for adults arranging garment care. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Call the store on (256) 586-1104 and we will deal with it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page.
